cover-black-jasmine-187x300Writerly Wednesdays are devoted to all things writerly. I may share a favorite writerly nook or share some new found tool, gadget, widget or app. Today I’m trying out some new features of Twitter and Storify while shining a spotlight on Maui Thriller Author, Toby Neal and her Lei Crime Series.
  1. Please feel free to sign in with Twitter. You can still retweet, favor, and make all your favorite Twitter moves.
  2. Not only did Toby Neal help us at HICM launch our weekly Friday Noontime author Twitterviews, but she got some incredible press that day in the #MauiNews!

  6. One of the reasons we at HICM chose the Friday Noon time was that authors frequently offer free book deals for the weekend and announce them around 5p EST which turns out to be kaukau time in Hawaii.
  7. I paid full price for all four of your books without regret. Free is a great way to get a taste of your work. Be back for more. #HICM

  44. With all of the past year’s sturm und drang about sock-puppets, author book review revokes, star-padding, et al, I have been a bit hesitant to enter the book review fray. I am still struggling to find my footing there. While I do, I figure that the author Twitterview and blog posting of the Storified version is my best way forward. What are your thoughts on book reviews, Toby Neal’s Lei Crime Series, or anything else that strikes your fancy. Whether you are reading this via Storify or Writing Space at larabritt.com, please take time to share your thoughts. And of course we love retweets as well.
