My lineage comes via Gail M Baugniet of The Pepper Bibeau Mystery Series. Gail comes to it via Laurie Hanan of The Louise Golden Mystery Series. Laurie was gifted by Toby Neal of The Lei Crime Series. A true Sisters in Crime hand-me-down.

So, here’s the plan:

1.  Answer the following ten questions about a current WIP.
2.  Tag five other writers. Link their blogs so we can all hop over and read their answers.

It’s that simple.

Or, it was that simple. Gail is known for her penchant for bending the rules for the greater good. Her augmentation to the original concept included breaking the questions into individual blog posts to be shipped weekly culminating with the “Mission Accomplished” post that coincided with her publication date.

Brilliant.

I’m following Gail’s lead with the exception of posting once a month rather than weekly. Questions hot-linked to the blog posts that answer them below.

  1. What is the working title of your book?
  2. Where did the idea come from for the book?
  3. What genre does your book fall under?
  4. Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?
  5. What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
  6. Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?
  7. How long did it take you to write the first full draft of your manuscript?
  8. What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?
  9. Who or What inspired you to write this book?
  10. What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?
